What we collect
When you join the newsletter or contact us, we collect the information you give us: your email address, and your name and message if you send one. When you buy a guide, our payment processor collects the details needed to complete the purchase; we don't see or store your full card number.
Like most sites, our server records basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages visited) in logs used for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To send you the newsletter you signed up for, and to reply to messages you send us.
- To deliver guides you've purchased and send updates to them.
- To keep the site secure and fix problems.
We don't sell your information and we don't share it with advertisers. We use a transactional email provider (Resend) to deliver email, and a payment processor to handle purchases; both only receive what they need to do that job.
Cookies and storage
This site stores your light/dark theme preference in your browser. We don't run tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this site.
Who we share it with
Three kinds of providers touch your data, each only for its job: a payment processor (to take your payment), an email provider (to send the newsletter and order emails), and the hosting that serves this site. None of them are allowed to use your details for their own marketing. We don't use advertising networks, pixels or social-media trackers.
How long we keep it
Newsletter addresses stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Order records (the email you paid with, what you bought, when) are kept so we can resend your download and handle disputes, and because tax rules require it. Contact-form messages are deleted once the conversation is finished. Server logs rotate automatically after a short period.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Download links are signed so they can't be guessed or altered. Payment details never pass through our servers at all. No system is perfect; if we ever learn of a breach that affects you, we'll tell you.
Children
This site and its products are for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if you think we have, contact us and we'll remove it.
Your choices
Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to delete the data we hold about you at any time via the contact page, and we'll do it.
